Microphone Cables and Wires
What can I say about microphones? There are so many brands around that this becomes a matter of personal choice of what works for you. I use two or three different mics, depending on where we are, but mostly a Newman KMS 105. Joyce uses a Sure Beta 87A for vocal that she absolutely loves. We also have a Wireless Beta 57, along with three other backup mics. Speaker wires and cables- get the best you can afford or to get the job done. There is so much talk of what cables are the best you have to make a judgement call on these.
Recording Equipment
For recording our demo CDs and midis, wavs and mp3s, we use a host of equipment. All our demos are done in real time with the exception of our background vocals that we record through our Bose L1 Model System system and secure digital cards and re-record through our keyboards. For sound purposes we use our Bose L1 Model System, Keyboards, Infinity, Wersi Subs, Cakewalk, CoolEdit, Infinity Speaker with 500 watt subs. CoolEdit remains our main program for tweaks and trims.
