Here is a picture of a signed contract I have for Alan Ladd to appear in the Iron Mistress with Virginia Mayo. The contract is up for sale right now, but it goes on to say how much he would receive to appear in this move for a 13 week period etc. This is a real piece of film history.

Back about 12 years ago when I had my retail stores in Florida, selling organs and keyboards in the New Port Richey area, we use to demo and perform a song Bésame Mucho. Some one mentioned that Dale Evans introduced this song in a movie. Since we had a monthly newspaper we printed called Keynote we decided to call Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Museum in Victorville, CA to get the“scoop”.
Although we did not get a chance to talk to Dale or Roy thedirector put us on hold.In a few minutes came back with the complete story.Dale sang this song in a moviecalled 'The Cowboy and the Senorita' in 1944. This was  thefirst picture that Roy andDale did together. Iasked them for a photo of them for our newspaper and they sent a picture to us. After we ran the story I sent it back with a copy of our story and asked if they would sign it.They did in their familiar way “Happy Trails” Roy Rogers and Dale Evans.
One of my prized autographs for sure.
